Handball Odds expressed in American, Decimal and Fractional Formats

For American odds format, keep in mind the difference between positive and negative expressions.  Both use the figure of CHF 100, but in different ways.  When a negative number, the odds are below even-money and the odds express how much one must wager in order to return a profit of CHF 100.  For example, if a team is favoured heavily, you might see a figure of -270.  This means you would need to wager CHF 270 for a potential profit of CHF 100 and a total potential return of CHF 370.  When you see a positive handball odds price in American format such as +180, this expresses how much potential profit you will gain when you wager CHF 100.  At +180, a winning bet of CHF 100 would return your stake plus CHF 180 in profit for a total return of CHF 280. 

For the Decimal odds format on the handball, you simply multiply your stake amount by the decimal odds price to see the full amount that would be returned on a win, including your stake amount.  For example, if you wagered CHF 100 at a price of 1.62, your total potential return would be CHF 162, a profit of CHF 62.
