OddsJet has the best MMA odds for fight fans in Norway

MMA has gained extraordinary popularity in a relatively short period of time.  Although many of the individual fighting styles are incredibly old, the first documented use of the term ‘Mixed Martial Arts’ only came in the early 1990s. Like any other sport, online sportsbooks offer betting odds on MMA matches.  OddsJet compares MMA betting odds from several reputable sportsbook companies that serve customers in Norway and offer NOK accounts.  This MMA odds comparison allows OddsJet to display the best odds for every important MMA match so Norwegian bettors may maximize their potential returns.  Fight fans can also find boxing odds on OddsJet.

Money Line or Match Winner

When one is betting on the Money Line, one is betting on the fighter that you think will win the match.  There is no handicap – just pick a winner.  Favorites and underdogs are determined solely by the odds pricing.

MMA Odds expressed in American, Decimal and Fractional Formats

For American odds format, keep in mind the difference between positive and negative expressions.  When the odds are below even-money, a negative number is used.   A negative odds price expresses how much one needs to wager in order to return a profit of NOK 100.  For example, if a fighter is favoured heavily to win, one might see a figure of -335.  This means that one would need to wager NOK 335 in order to return NOK 100 in profit for a total potential return of NOK 435.  When one sees a positive odds price in American format such as +194, the positive odds price expresses how much profit one might gain with a wager of NOK 100.  At +194 on given fighter to win, a bet of NOK 100 would return one’s stake plus NOK 194 for a total return of NOK 294.  Note that although the American odds format centres on the figure of NOK 100, this is purely for expression and is not a restriction in any way on the amount that may be staked.

For the Decimal odds format, simply multiply the stake amount by the decimal odds price to see the full amount that would be returned on a win including the stake amount.  For example, if one wagered NOK 100 at a price of 1.93, the total return would be NOK 193, a profit of NOK 93.

For Fractional odds format, the odds express the potential profit return that could be received over and above the stake amount.  For example, if one bet NOK 100 at an odds price of 5/6 (said five-to-six) and wins, the NOK 100 stake is returned and the profit would be NOK 83.33 (5 divided by 6, multiplied by NOK 100) or a total return of NOK 183.33.
